HOW DO I BOOK AN APPOINTMENT? Can i schedule a pre-consultation?

There are two ways to make an appointment at SALT. Call the salon and speak to one of your guest specialists (203-439-0172) or email guest@saltct.com.

Durning your appointment; our artists have an in depth consultation where they will cover your current hair, goals hair, pricing, and you hair journey. We estimate three hours for a new client inquiry which will include your consultation, services, and after photos.

HOW DO I KNOW WHAT SERVICES I NEED?

Each new guest inquiry will go through a pre consultation screening. This will require you to email us pictures of your current hair and your goal hair so our team can assess and determine which services will get you closest to your goal hair.

WHAT SERVICES DO/ DON’T YOU OFFER?

DO: customize-able creative color services/ hair painting techniques (balayage, foilyage, color melting).

DON’T: hair cut (only) appointments, up-does, extensions, walk-ins, root touch up (only) appointments.

HOW MUCH DOES A BALAYAGE COST?

A full balayage starts at $250, price increases based on length and density. This includes a full consultation, customized application, gloss, blow-dry, and signature SALT beach waves.

What products should I use at home?

We have hand selected the product lines we carry because they align with our mission and work wonders on your hair. We take pride in giving our guests product knowledge before they leave the salon. Supplying an after hair care brochure to make sure they know how to properly take care of their hair. We want you to love your hair as much as you did the day you have it done. This is why it is so important to have a good at home hair care regiment to keep your color vibrant.

We cannot guarantee the quality of your hair if you are using outside products.

We offer three different product lines: Verb, IGK, and Neuma

WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?

SALT requires a credit card in order to reserve an appointment. In the event that you would need to cancel or reschedule a reserved appointment SALT requires 48 hours notice. If 48 hours notice is not given for a cancellation, the reserved credit card will be charged based off of the duration of the scheduled appointment. No show's are included under this policy. 

Please be aware that if you are more than 15 minutes late for your appointment, we may not be able to provide the service for which you have been scheduled for and a cancellation fee will apply.
